SOUTHWEST, Fla. — The South Trail Fire District says it responded to seven vehicle crashes in a two hour and 20 minute time frame on Friday.
Firefighters of that district primarily serve the South Fort Myers area.
Now, the district's sharing helpful reminders for driving in the rain:
- All drivers must reduce speed
- Increase your following distance between cars
- Avoid heavy braking
- Never use cruise control
- Be patient
- Wait for the weather to improve before leaving
- Wear your seat belt (It's the law!)
