NAPLES, Fla. — A new fundraising event to honor local fallen heroes is coming to Naples in two weeks.
The Fallen Officers and Robert L. Zore Foundation is hosting the Mission 2244 Gala on Friday, Mar. 13.
Monday morning, Fox 4 is speaking with organizers at Naples Grande Resort, where the event will take place.
They say the event is to remember the fallen heroes of Lee, Collier, and Naples, as well as show support to their families.
Mission 2244 Gala is named after the badge number of Rosemary Zore's father, a law enforcement officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty when she was 7 years old.
The event is planning a night of awards, entertainment, celebrity guests, and much more.
