LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is searching for a hit and run driver that caused a collision on Orange River Blvd. at River Grove Lane, at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 23.
The unidentified vehicle - described as an SUV, possibly blue in color - was traveling eastbound on Orange River Blvd. and made an illegal U-turn at River Grove Lane, causing the collision before the driver fled the scene.
Minor injuries were reported for children who were passengers in the car that was hit.
