UPDATE (6:29 PM)-- Troopers say an SUV hit a male pedestrian.
The pedestrian works for a landscaping company and was assisting with laying down sod in the construction zone.
Troopers are on the scene still investigating.

The Florida Highway Patrol is working on a crash at the intersection of Bell Boulevard and State Road 82 in Lehigh Acres.
All eastbound lanes are completely shut down and will be for the next hour.
Please seek an alternate route and avoid driving through this area, if possible.
