PASCO COUNTY, Fla. -- A Trinity woman has been charged with attempted murder after deputies say she attempted to stab a man to death with a kitchen knife after an argument with her sister.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Melissa Henson went to a Hudson home Monday night after learning of an argument between the victim and Henson's sister about a text message.
Deputies day that the victim recorded the incident on his cell phone. It shows Henson entering the victim's bedroom with a knife, before she climbed onto the victim in an effort to stab him.
The victim punched Henson, causing her to drop the knife. The victim sustained one cut on the leg during the incident.
Deputies say that Henson is heard during the attack telling the victim to delete the video.
Henson is charged with attempted murder and tampering with a victim, and taken to Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
