FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A group who helps put food on the table for some in Southwest Florida is now asking for your help.
The Harry Chapin Food Bank has already purchased $35,000 worth of gift cards to help families in need have Thanksgiving dinner.
But now the organization is hoping to collect 3,000 turkeys as well to help those families.
You can donate them at their distribution center in Fort Myers (3760 Fowler Street) or the new center in Naples (3940 Prospect Avenue #101). The distribution centers are open from 8 am to 3:30 pm on Monday through Friday.
