LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- The Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs food truck serves up an American classic, with other favorites across Southwest Florida.
The Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs restaurant has been around for over 100 years; it originated in Coney Island, New York. The Fort Myers food truck has been up and running for only 7 months. The Cape Coral restaurant is expected to open in July.
The most popular dish on the truck, is the chili cheese hot dog but they have other classics like burgers and fries. The super burger is one of the restaurant's most popular burgers; it has cheese, pickles, ketchup and a 5 pound burger.
If somebody sees the Nathan's Famous food truck, they can get a card for a free hot dog at the restaurant. If you go to the restaurant on Thursday's between 4 and 8 p.m. you can buy one hot dog, and get one for a nickel.
