CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A former family care physician has been found guilty on 58 counts of Possession of Material Including Sexual Conduct by a Child.
William Robert Burkey, 68, was printing photos at a drug store in Fort Myers that contained images of pre-pubescent girls.
Law enforcement was notified. Burkey then returned to the store to bring more photos.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated and identified Burkey through the use of his store discount card.

A search warrant was executed at his home, and the illegal material involving children was found.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 6th.
