LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — A former Lee County paraprofessional is facing charges after accusations she inappropriately touched a 15-year-old female student back in May.
The Fort Myers Police Department arrested Jamie Hill Monday.
Back in June, Hill resigned from Lehigh Senior High School after the start of the investigation.
Hill is now charged with Lewd and Lascivious Behavior. She is currently out on a $ 5,000 bond.
The Lee County School District is responding. "When allegations were brought forward, the district immediately engaged the Lee County Sheriff's Office and DCF in the investigation and turned our findings over to them. The safety and security of our students is our highest priority."
