FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- The popular fishing pier on Fort Myers Beach will be experiencing temporary closures this month to allow for maintenance work.
According to Lee County officials, the pier will be closed for three days beginning Wednesday, September 11th for pest control. It will reopen on September 14th.
Then, beginning Monday, September 16th, the pier will be closed on weekdays for two weeks while roofing and maintenance work is being performed. The pier will be open weekends from sundown Friday until sunrise Monday.
All amenities at Lynn Hall Park except the pier remain open with regular hours. Amenities at Lynn Hall Park include shelters with grills, restrooms with changing facilities and accessible beach access. Parking is $2 per hour.
