Fort Myers City Manager submits letter of retirement

The Fort Myers Manager has submitted his retirement request, this comes after the Mayor had asked him to step down.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Fort Myers City Manager Saeed Kazemi has submitted a letter of retirement effective May 3, 2021.

Kazemi's announcement comes after the city's new mayor requested he resign from the position.
