FORT MYERS — The Fort Myers Fire Department will be on A&E's "Live Rescue".
FMFD released a statement saying the lifesaving work of crew members will be on Season 3 of "Live Rescue".
The city permitted FMFD to be on the reality program.
Live Rescue will follow Fire Station 11 beginning this week and will get to see rescue scenes, including structure fires and vehicle accidents.
It's the busiest station in Fort Myers when it comes to call volume.
"Having our department on Live Rescue gives citizens a glimpse into everyday situations we encounter on the job as firefighters," said Chief Tracy McMillion.
"In addition, the recruitment value is tremendous."
The new season will air on Friday and Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
