FORT MYERS, Fla. – 61-year-old Luis Ortega is in jail, facing a number of charges that now include homicide after a deadly confrontation on Friday.

Fort Myers Police say a fight broke out between two neighbors on Diana Avenue, and that's when 55-year-old Jose Bermudez was shot.
Investigators say the gunman, Ortega, went home and refused to surrender. Eventually the SWAT team came out and arrested him.
Ortega was initially charged with aggravated assault and burglary. Since then, a charge of homicide has been added.
Right now, the investigation is ongoing.
