FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in reference to several images of child sexual exploitative material being traced back to a residence in Fort Myers.
Detectives searched the residence of Randal Deemer, 54, residence and recovered numerous electronics that could potentially contain child pornography.
Digital forensic examination from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Digital Forensics Unit was requested for these electronics. In total, detectives recovered over 500,000 images of adult and child pornography.
Deemer was arrested and charged with 7 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
These charges carry an enhancement due to the substantial amount of exploitative material located.
