LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- We have new details about a deadly crash on Interstate 75 over the weekend.
We now know that 26-year-old Kevin Diaz of Fort Myers died in the crash.
This happened Saturday around 9 pm near mile marker 117 of I-75 in Bonita Springs.
According to FHP, Diaz was driving northbound when he lost control of his Corvette while changing lanes. His car rotated and sideswiped another car before going off the roadway and hitting a tree.
Diaz died at the scene.
Troopers say the driver of the second car was not injured.
This accident is still under investigation.
