LEE COUNTY, FLa. — Tonight, we are learning Fort Myers Police Captain Jay Rodriguez is still on administrative leave.
Three months after video surfaced of him allegedly accepting sexual services during a prostitution sting at a local massage parlor.
We first showed you this video back in February.
It's from a sting operation, Captain Rodriguez, who was a Lieutenant at the time worked on, in 2013.
The video was given to us by a fired police officer.
The governor's office has since appointed two state attorneys from outside our area to handle the criminal investigation.
However, Rodriguez says he's the victim of an extortion attempt.
