BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — Bonita Springs councilman, Fred Forbes, announced his candidacy for Bonita Springs Mayor.
Forbes has been a resident of Bonita Springs since 1997 and was also a former Fire Commissioner before becoming a council member in 2016.
"As mayor, I would work with City Council to really get the water right, which we can do even better than we are already doing," said Forbes.
Pursue solutions to significantly improving the traffic jams and congestion reduced along our main roads."
Peter Simmons is the current Mayor of Bonita Springs.
