CAPE CORAL, Fla. — We have an update on a story you saw here on Fox 4.
On November 16, we showed you the Cowell family.
They live in Cape Coral, and at that point, had been without running water for a week due to a broken water pump.
The family told our reporter that they tried working with the company who installed the pump, but the company wouldn't honor the pump's warranty and instead wanted to charge them for a new one.
Well, the owner of Crystal Clear Water in North Fort Myers saw our story and replaced the Cowell family's water pump for free!
"Makes me feel good about myself and the company and what we can do for people. And that's the most important thing is helping the community when you can and you're able to," said David Cannestra, Owner of Crystal Clear Water.
Fox 4 is working to follow-up with the Cowell family to see how they're liking their new water pump.
