Koreshan State Park is giving a Florida's only native tortoise some special treatment by hosting walk-and-talk tours all day ion Tuesday, April 10th. Gopher Tortoises leave their burrows and go looking for fresh greenery from now until May.
The walk-and-talk tours take visitors through the park while learning about gopher tortoises and how important they are to our area. The tours are led by Dr. Pamela Jones-Morton.
Tours begin at 10:00 am and last for about an hour. Tours are free with park admission. More information is available here.
