Teachers at Gulf Elementary School in Cape Coral are being celebrated for National Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday and for the rest of the week for National Teacher Appreciation Week.
Principal, Kimberly Verblaauw, said although her teachers can't ever be thanked enough, she wanted the school to take a moment this week to show appreciation.
Everyday this week, something different is planned for the teachers. Tuesday is titled, "I'm so Fortunate to have you." On Wednesday, teachers will receive a classroom gift. On Thursday, a teacher appreciation luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. in the IB and PLC Teacher Lounge. And on Friday, teachers are being celebrated with a sweet treat. For more details, click here.
