FORT MYERS-- The Fort Myers high school basketball coach who stepped down amid controversy last week will be introduced this morning at his new school.
According to the school's director of development, Scott Guttery will be introduced at the Evangelical Christian School at 11:00 Monday morning.
The introduction will be inside the school’s gym.
In May he was placed on leave from Fort Myers high as deputies investigated a "hard-foul" against a student during a pick-up game.
The department did not file any charges against Guttery.
That student's family says they may sue the county over his injuries.
