There was major flooding today near Fort Myers beach due to heavy rainfall.
Cars were seen driving in this flooded parking lot outside Lamotto's Italian Restaurant before a property manager came out to try and block off two entrances, to keep cars from driving through it.
The owner, Carmelo Lamotto said the flooding is so bad that business suffers when it rains heavily.
To try and stay positive, Lamotto said, "Waterfront dining tonight. We have that there. We'll put you in a table outside."
He told me they have specials tonight due to the bad flooding.
He also says his property manager is working toward a long term solution to this problem.
