HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — Hendry County deputies have arrested a suspect connected to a 2017 cold case murder .
On December 14, 2017, deputies responded to a call for assistance from a witness reporting a shooting in front of the M&M store, located on Kentucky Ave. in Clewiston. When deputies arrived, they found 26-year-old Donald Johnson shot to death.
Further investigation revealed 25-year-old Arthur Harrington, a lifetime acquaintance of Johnson, had shot him. Harrington was taken into custody and charged with Homicide and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon on Friday.
