FORT MYERS, Fl — The homeless crisis in Southwest Florida came to a head the week of October 5, 2020.
This comes after dozens of people struggling with homelessness were asked to leave Centennial Park, the place many of them have been calling home since the pandemic started.
FOX 4 was there all week, from the moment they were asked to leave to the day the park closed for renovations.
