How to make a classic Peruvian sandwich

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.-- The World Cup is all about celebrating your roots and that includes the food.

Gustito's Peruvian Bakery and Cafe in Naples has a recipe for a classic Peruvian breakfast staple. It's called a lomo saltado sandwich, which is a spin on a steak sandwich.

The dish is usually served with fries and rice, but you can put it in a French baguette. You saute steak and season it with salt, pepper, garlic, soy sauce and vinegar. You then mix in red onions and cook it until it's crispy. Then, add tomatoes and cilantro. Lomo saltado is a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cultures.
