NAPLES, Fla. — 29 dogs from Puerto Rico are looking for their forever home after being rescued by Humane Society Naples.
"These are dogs that would not have access to any shelter if a storm came through," said Jonathan Forester, the Director of Community Affairs.
These pups were sent to Naples by All Sato Rescue in Puerto Rico.
"We've worked with All Sato for a long time, but the thing about that group is they rescue a lot of dogs off the beaches," said Forester.
Forester said they've been working with All Sato for about six years. The humane society takes in about 30 dogs from the rescue every year.
Now, volunteers and staff are busy getting these dogs ready for adoption.
