FORT MYERS, Fla. — Hundreds of happy people showed up for the annual Community Fun Day in Fort Myers on Saturday.
The event included activities, free backpacks filled with supplies and free haircuts.
However, organizers said Fun Day is not just about a good time, it's also about safety and health.
Multiple agencies and nonprofits brought services and information to the community.
Local professionals shared healthy living and safety tips, and those who attended received free health screenings.
