BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. — This week started on a rocky road for Tipsy Cow in Bonita Springs. Co-owner Andy Palmasano says someone stole their ice cream trailer Monday night. He says he and his dad planned to use it to stay afloat during the pandemic.

“That truck is obviously worth the cash, but it’s more about the time that me and dad spent to build it up together,” he said.

He and his dad opened Tipsy Cow in 2016.

“Not only am I getting a smile from the kids, I’m also getting the smiles from the parents as well,” he said with a laugh.

Palmasano says that’s because of Tipsy Cow’s liquor-infused flavors for the 21 and older crowd. But the smiles turned to frowns for him Tuesday morning, when he realized someone had stolen his trailer.

He and his dad had just recently revamped the inside of it and were getting ready to wrap their logo around the outside. He says deputies are checking nearby camera footage for any leads and taking tips from neighbors.

He says he and his dad have three events scheduled for this weekend. They still plan to bring tables for their set up, so they’re not letting any customers down. But, there’s only one thing that’ll make Palmasano’s heart melt.

“Get my trailer back,” he said.

The owners are serving up a cash reward and a lifetime supply of free ice cream to anyone who can find that trailer.
