IMMOKALEE, Fla. — Immokalee High School's Class of 2020, alongside members of their community, celebrated their graduation with a parade Friday evening.
FOX 4 broadcasted live from the parade, which was clearly a celebration of the students, their community and their various cultures.
Among flags from countries including the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Mexico flying high, balloons and pictures of graduates were proudly displayed on participating vehicles.
Organizers from Lipman Family Farms, the Guadalupe Center and the Immokalee Foundation say the tight-knit community wanted to do something special for seniors, as they weren't able to have a tradational graduation.
