FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Humane Society workers are looking for more information on who abused a new dog they just brought in.

The Gulf Coast Humane Society says they just got Duncan from the Hendry County area.

You can see the marks and gashes on his face. And they say those injuries looked intentional. However, since the injuries are only from the neck up, they do not believe this is a ‘bait dog’ situation.

They say if you know anything about this, call 1-800-780-TIPS.

The Humane Society also says Duncan is in good spirits.

Once his wounds heal and he gets the proper vaccinations, he will be put up for adoption.
