SANIBEL, Fla. -- A photo of a raccoon recovering from a shoulder injury at a Southwest Florida animal clinic looks like a real-life version of a popular comic book character.
Staff at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) on Sanibel Island posted the photo to their Instagram page on Tuesday.
The photo shows a raccoon with a bandaged front leg in a sling, the result of a dislocated shoulder joint.
Many say the photo reminds them of the popular Guardians of the Galaxy character Rocket Raccoon, an anthropomorphic raccoon who is an expert marksman and master tactician.
