Here's a refreshing story for you! Two kids are working to help their dad make it to Duke Medical to get care for a rare medical condition.

They set up their lemonade stand off Santa Barbara Boulevard just south of Diplomat Parkway in Cape Coral.

"One very nice grandma today, she showed up and gave us a nice $20 bill, because she knew what we were going through. And I asked her for her change and she said 'no, keep it' and just started crying. That means a lot," said Hunter Garrison.

"I always thought that this town was full of hate, and I was proven wrong, especially by waking up one morning and seeing a line of cars outside my window, giving my kids money. It made me realize that there's still hope for this town and this city," said Virgil Garrison.
