Lakes Park Farmers Market returns for season

Posted

FORT MYERS, Fla.-- The weekly farmers market at Lakes Regional Park is returning for the season on Wednesday, October 3.

The market, located on 7300 Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers, will feature fresh and local produce, meats, seafood, cheeses, flowers, arts and more. The market will run every Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. through April 2019.

Parking is free for market shoppers. Lakes Park Farmers Market says they will no longer hand out plastic straws. They say they hope to go totally plastic-free in the future to help protect the environment and wildlife. They're also encouraging shoppers to bring reusable bags.
