COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Drivers who plan to enter of leave Marco Island on Tuesday, December 17th should be aware of partial road closures on the S.R. 951 bridge.
According to the Marco Island Police Department, a contractor working on the bridge over Big Marco Pass will be closing one lane at a time between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day.
Closures will take place in both northbound and southbound sides, but no more than one lane will be closed at a time.
Environmental surveys will be performed on the bridge.
Police encourage motorists to plan ahead, use caution in the work area, and use an alternative route of State Road 92 to avoid traffic congestion in the area that day.
