LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Lee County will buy 60 acres of land as part of their Conservation 2020 program.

Commissioners voted to purchase two parcels to add to existing preserves in Alva and Bonita Springs.

The land includes a panther habitat and a Florida Scrub-Jay habitat.

The total cost is around $462,000.
