FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Lee County school district reports no injuries after a crash involving a Lee County school bus in Fort Myers Wednesday morning.

It happened on U.S. 41 just south of Six Mile Cypress Parkway before 10 a.m.

A Fox 4 crew saw the bus being towed away from the scene, along with a SUV with front end damage.

The school district says no students were on the bus at the time, and the driver was not injured. They say the bus was on its way back to the bus compound after finishing its routes for the day.

The crash caused roadblock in the northbound lanes for about half an hour, but all lanes are now open again.
