FORT MYERS, Fla. --- A Fort Myers Officer was involved in a car accident in downtown Fort Myers Tuesday night.
The crash happened along Bay Street and Lee Street around 8 p.m. and involved another car.
The Fort Myers patrol car landed onto the sidewalk, hitting a pedestrian pole causing the pole to fall.
Deputies are still investigating what caused the crash.
