FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We're learning a female student at Cypress Lake High School has been arrested for a threatening Instagram post.

That's according to the school's principal.

In a message to parents overnight, Principal Angela Roles writes, “the post showed a juvenile female student holding what appeared to be a rifle, with the caption ‘I'll show you a (expletive) school shooting.’"

Roles adds students at the high school quickly reported it, and that's why deputies were able to react so quickly.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with the principal that an arrest was made.
