LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office has arrested a woman for an unrelated battery charge, but the charge is related to the home where a woman was found stabbed to death in Bokeelia.

Deputies say 49-year-old Lori Quinn lives across the street from the victim's home.

On Tuesday around 1:30 a.m., a booking report says a man living in a boat outside the home of the homicide had gone over to Quinn's home after she called him over.

The report says Quinn asked the man to have sex with him. Deputies say he refused, but Quinn allegedly grabbed his face. The man is said to have pulled away before going back to the boat.

About two hours later, the report says the man saw Quinn in the homicide victim's living room through a window. They told her to get out and leave, deputies say.

The report goes on to say the man went inside the home and found a woman with a knife in her chest. Deputies responded to investigate the homicide around 10:15 a.m.

At this time, Quinn is charged with aggravated battery, in connection to her interaction with that man.
