NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office was on the scene of a deputy-involved shooting in North Fort Myers.
LSCO said deputies initially responded to a disturbance call early Sunday morning. They added one suspect was injured in the shooting, but no deputies were injured.
Deputies arrived around 4:30 this morning and several fire trucks were also on the scene.
This all happened in a neighborhood near Travis Avenue and Pondella Rd.
They said the road will be blocked off while they continue their investigation. The department's Major Crimes Unit is investigating the incident.
