FORT MYERS, Fla. — A Wednesday afternoon house fire was caused by a lightning strike, South Trail fire officials said.
The fire happened at a home on Fawn Ridge Dr. in the Danforth Lakes area. South Trail Fire was assisted by Fort Myers, San Carlos Park fire departments and Lee County Public Safety.
The Red Cross says four people were displaced as a result of the fire, but no injuries were reported.
