LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Amazon has purchased land off of State Road 82 & I-75.
The City of Fort Myers has confirmed that the land will be used for a 750,000 sq. ft. Amazon facility.
The company says it has been working to attain the property for the last three years, and will hire approximately 1,000 people.
The new location should be finished by 2028.
