FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol says two men are dead after their sedan hit a tractor-trailer, then hit a telephone pole on Luckett Road and Golden Lake Drive.
FHP says the sedan was traveling westbound at a "high rate of speed" and lost control, causing the vehicle to swerve into the eastbound lane.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Debris from the sedan also hit an SUV parked in the area.
FHP says the crash remains under investigation.
