LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 61-year-old man from Tallahassee was struck and killed by a vehicle on North Cleveland Avenue (U.S. 41) on Sunday evening.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) the man was attempting to cross the road just south of Evergreen Road at 8:52 p.m.
Investigators say a 26-year-old North Fort Myers woman was traveling north on U.S. 41 and collided with the man.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
