LCSO provided an update on the investigation in Tice Sunday morning, now calling it homicide investigation. They say one of the females is now deceased, while the other remains in critical condition.
LCSO says investigators are still gathering facts and conducting their investigation.

LCSO reports the two women remain in critical condition.
LCSO's Major Crimes Unit is also still on scene working leads and conducting interviews.
Two women were transported to the hospital with critical injuries as deputies investigate a scene in the Tice community on Montgomery Avenue.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says patrol and detectives are actively working the scene which started as a "distressing 911 call", and they are now seeking potential witnesses.
LCSO said units responded to the 300 Block of Montgomery Avenue around noon.
