Lee deputies arrest man they say sold heroin near school

FORT MYERS, FL.- Lee County deputies arrested a man they say was selling heroin near a middle school. 

Deputies say 36-year-old Robert Chapman sold drugs outside of his home in the 2300 block of Maple Avenue in Fort Myers. His home is roughly 300 feet from Fort Myers Middle School. 

Deputies also say they found nearly 50 grams of heroin, along with more than $2,5000 in drug money. 

Chapman now faces multiple drug charges. 

Chapman has an extensive criminal history and has been arrested 31 times within Lee County for a plethora of narcotics, weapons, and assault related charges.
