LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County Sheriff deputies are handling a death investigation in the 800 block of Cervantes Street.
On Friday, February 4, 2022, at approximately 7:50 A.M. deputies responded to the 800 block of Cervantes Street in Lehigh Acres in reference to a suspicious call.

It is happening on Long Avenue and Cervantes Street East.
This is an active crime scene and the area is taped off.

Deputies say they found a man dead near a vehicle on the side of the roadway this morning around 8 a.m.
Detectives confirm this is a homicide investigation.
