COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A Lehigh Acres man was arrested for almost causing a head-on collision with a Collier County Sheriff's Office unmarked patrol car.
Deputies said the driver Euripides Plana traveled towards the unmarked car on I-75, nearly causing a collision.
The deputy immediately pulled Plana over. Deputies said Plana told them he had trouble steering.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Plana had a Heineken bottle in the car, and his driver's license was suspended from a previous DUI.
Deputies said his license from the previous DUI was suspended over a decade ago.
Once Plana was taken to Naples Jail Center, deputies found two small baggies with white powdered substance on him.
Plana is facing multiple charges.
