LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- U.S. News and World Report has released their ranking of the best high schools in the country.
Florida was ranked number 4 in country for best high schools. However, Southwest Florida high schools did not rank very high as a whole.
- The top Lee County high school is Fort Myers High, which is ranked 62.
- The top Charlotte County high school is Charlotte High, which is ranked 171.
- The top Collier County high school is Gulf Coast High, which is ranked 74.
- Glades and Hendry County schools are not ranked.
The number one high school in Florida is Pine View School in Sarasota County.
