CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Changes are coming to a Cape Coral road.
Monday, Lee County commissioners voted on a contractor to realign and widen Littleton Road at Kismet Parkway, and to install a roundabout at Littleton Road and Corbett Road.
The project also includes sidewalks, bike lanes and drainage improvements.
The county awarded Thompkins Contracting, Inc. $2 million for the project. It is jointly funded with the City of Cape Coral.
The total cost is estimated to be $5.2 million.
Construction is expected to begin early next year.
